Creator Program Terms

Conditional program and eligibility

The Creator Program begins only when Cookhouse enables it. To earn, each owner or contributor must be an individual U.S. resident age 18 or older, pass requested identity and sanctions checks, accept these terms, provide complete tax information, and maintain a valid PayPal account in their own name or eligible business name. We may reject or reverify eligibility.

Qualifying earnings

Subject to these terms, eligible creators earn US$0.50 for each qualifying token actually consumed for paid-group access. Premium-feature uses do not earn creator compensation. Refunded, charged-back, reversed, fraudulent, self-dealing, artificially generated, mistaken, sanctions-blocked, or policy-violating activity is excluded and may be deducted from current or future balances.

Contributor splits

The group owner assigns prospective percentages totaling exactly 100%. Every contributor must independently qualify. The split recorded when a token charge occurs controls that earning and cannot be changed retroactively. A later split applies only to later qualifying charges. The owner is responsible for accurate allocations and resolving contributor disputes; Cookhouse may freeze disputed amounts.

Hold, minimum, and payout

Earnings remain pending for 60 days after the calendar month in which they arise closes. We then ordinarily issue an eligible payout through PayPal within 15 days. Thus, qualifying June earnings are ordinarily payable by mid-September. The ordinary minimum payout is US$25; smaller balances roll forward. A final undisputed balance will be handled at the next lawful closure cycle even if below US$25.

PayPal, transfer, and foreign-exchange fees may be deducted from the recipient’s payout. Cookhouse may withhold taxes, backup withholding, reserves, refunds, chargebacks, sanctions-blocked amounts, erroneous amounts, and disputed earnings. Payout timing may be extended for investigation, missing documents, provider outages, or legal obligations. Creator dashboards are estimates until paid.

Taxes and records

Creators are responsible for taxes, registrations, licenses, and reporting arising from their activity. You authorize Cookhouse to collect and use identity, tax, eligibility, and payment information and to issue required forms. Failure to provide valid information may suspend or forfeit payment where law permits.

Creator duties

You must accurately describe access, deliver the offered group experience in good faith, follow the Terms and Guidelines, protect member privacy, avoid misleading earnings or outcome claims, disclose material conflicts, and comply with advertising, consumer, tax, sanctions, and intellectual-property law. You may not buy access to generate your own earnings or coordinate artificial token use.

Independent relationship

You are an independent user, not an employee, agent, partner, joint venturer, franchisee, or fiduciary of ScreenSense. You have no authority to bind Cookhouse. Nothing guarantees earnings, subscribers, token volume, continued program availability, or group quality. You supply your own equipment and determine your lawful content and group activity subject to Cookhouse rules.

Suspension and termination

We may pause sales or payouts, impose reserves, remove a group, or suspend or terminate participation for safety, fraud, chargebacks, missing tax information, sanctions, legal risk, provider restrictions, or policy violations. We may recover overpayments and offset amounts owed. On termination, final undisputed earnings follow the ordinary hold and lawful closure process, subject to deductions and preservation duties.

Disputes and changes

The Terms of Service—including arbitration, liability limits, and governing law—apply to this program. Notify us of an earnings dispute within 60 days after the relevant statement so we can investigate, without limiting non-waivable rights. We may change prospective program economics with reasonable advance notice; already-earned qualifying amounts will not be retroactively reduced except for listed exclusions, corrections, or legal requirements.
