Community Guidelines
The conduct and content rules for every public and private Cookhouse group.

Be accurate and authentic
Share store observations honestly, identify estimates, use current timestamps, correct mistakes, and avoid manufactured urgency. Do not impersonate, spam, coordinate false reports, manipulate leaderboards or token activity, conceal sponsorship, or misrepresent group access, expertise, inventory, earnings, or results.
Protect people
Do not harass, bully, stalk, shame, threaten, celebrate violence, or encourage self-harm. Hate speech, dehumanizing abuse, sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, and content that endangers or sexualizes children are prohibited. Never solicit sexual content from a minor or attempt to move a minor into an unsafe interaction.
Protect privacy
Do not post another person’s address, precise location, credentials, financial information, government identifiers, private communications, intimate material, or other sensitive information without authorization. Do not use public groups as if they are confidential. Private groups remain subject to Cookhouse moderation and lawful access.
No scams or prohibited commerce
Do not commit fraud; sell counterfeit, stolen, recalled, illegal, dangerous, or regulated goods; facilitate prohibited raffles or gambling; launder money; evade sanctions; or use Cookhouse for deceptive payments. Cookhouse does not broker merchandise transactions, and users must independently comply with marketplace, tax, safety, and consumer laws.
Respect intellectual property
Post only content you own or are authorized to share. Do not remove rights information, distribute pirated material, misuse trademarks to impersonate a source, or repeatedly infringe. Use the Copyright Policy for copyright notices.
Platform integrity
Do not distribute malware or phishing links; scrape personal data; automate accounts, reactions, reports, joins, or token activity without permission; evade bans or access controls; probe vulnerabilities; interfere with Cookhouse; or abuse reports. Responsible security concerns should be sent privately to support.
Paid groups
Owners and contributors must accurately describe paid access and must not promise inventory, purchases, profit, resale performance, guaranteed activity, or privileged retailer treatment. Do not self-deal, fabricate engagement, pressure members to remain subscribed, or obscure prices and renewal timing.
Enforcement and appeals
We consider context, severity, history, intent, and safety risk. We may reduce distribution, remove content, disable features, archive a group, withhold disputed earnings, or warn, suspend, or ban an account. Report volume alone does not determine an outcome. Users notified of an eligible action may appeal within 14 days. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate permanent action.
Reporting
Use the in-app report flow for groups, members, messages, replies, and shouts. Use emergency services for immediate danger. Inventory accuracy and staleness reports are quality feedback; safety reports should identify the relevant harm. Do not submit false or retaliatory reports.
